A decade

It occurred to me this morning why I'm doing this marathon thing now, this year. All the ten year anniversaries of stuff with my mom's illness are coming up this fall/winter. I'm not good with exact dates. (I think I've blocked them out) But next month will be the 10th anniversary of my mom's diagnosis, November 27th would have been her 60th birthday, January will have been the 10th anniversary of her bone marrow transplant.

And at the same time, daisydumont and myasmahave allowed me (us) the privilege of reading their journeys. Somehow God is mixing all of this together in my heart.
