one of my eleventh graders, an amazing kid, turned into me an optional paper today about why it is hard to learn to be a godly man in america. more than anything, he said, it is to not settle, to not be satisfied. to be radically different and not just a little bit more moral.

there is a hope and a destiny for this boy. and for me, and many others.
