So many poor women (who can afford this book, of course) being denied the lives they want! At least there are resources like this book and Oprah's to help them break the bonds of their oppression!
Yeah, I usually avoid self-help books. But the review mentions a really important question. Would this woman be a friend of mine, if it were up to me? Some intentional behaviors can be chosen once that question is asked.
I catch myself many times in my classes. I don't want to do the things that were done to me to my students. But it surely is genetic memory. Still, there might be hope. *sigh*
