There must be SOME segment of culture it would sell well in. Diaries maximize income per word. That's just good salesmanship: maximum income for minimum work.

It's time for a NYT bestseller with nothing inside it. :)

Reminds me of this handful of movies sitting on the shelves at work, with pictures of Hilton on the cover, half-dressed looking blankly at the camera. I think to myself, I'm bored just looking at the cover! I cannot conceptualize that not only did a group of people think it was worth spending money to film her walking and talking for two hours, but there are in fact people willing to pay more money to watch it!

Paris Hilton is a best-selling author. Our bloated empire must surely be collapsing. Vomitoriums are just around the corner.
