Look. We all know that baseball operates within a universe of strange supernatural jinxing powers. Do not question it. You know it is true. So, let us place blame where it properly lay. People who start celebrating too early, or mention (potential)no hitters in the seventh inning are as much to blame as anyone with birds on his uniform.

Thankfully, there is more National League baseball.

That reminds me of the time I was at a White Sox game. Tony LaRussa was the manager back then. He got so ticked off over a call that he lifted up third base and threw it. (Yes, he was ejected. :P)
