the older i become, the more i become unable to understand the word, 'hate.' this is especially true when it comes to the yankees, raiders, lakers and the list goes on... way back when i did work for bill walsh who was the in his prime of being the 49ers head coach, i wrote on the back of all his cabinets, 'go raiders' and as far as i know the inscription is still there. no, i didn't 'hate' him or his team, however, i had lost faith in the lack of creativity of eddie, the owner. now, when one looks at the yankees, good ol' george 'pays' for what he wants. i suppose i admire the fact that he puts his $ where his mouth is. is that what sports is suppose to be about? who knows? it does keep one's interest alive and adds to the game. at the end of the day, it's all a game. ciao!
