The quickest way to get most people to do anything is to tell them not to -- human nature -- HAH!

The 'Tempting Fate' meme:

1. Make an LJ-cut post with "DO NOT READ" as the text.
2. Do not select a 'mood' for this post.
3. If anyone clicks the cut, they are to comment and admit to doing so.
4. Anyone who reads this also has to do the same in THEIR journal, thus continuing the never ending madness.

As a loyal patron of libraries the world over, I know perfectly well that the command "DO NOT READ" is always to be disobeyed. If you'd put "do not click here," or "do not follow this link," or even "ignore this cut," your railing at human nature might be justified. But for a member of your noble profession to ask others not to read, and then to taunt them for following the better angels of their nature-- that, my good woman, is altogether unacceptable!
