Lemonade on the pier
I had the best (and most expensive) lemonade yesterday at Navy Pier. 4 dollars and no lid! It was made to order, I watched my cup o'lemonade being put together with ice, freshly squeezed lemon juice and lots of sugar.

Then I walked along the pier savoring Chicago's skyline backed by a postcard perfect blue sky on one of the first days of indian summer.

I haven't felt so alive in a long time.
