but it good to hear when someone who "deserves" it wins the lotto Eight workers at a Nebraska meatpacking plant are really bringing home the bacon now: They stepped forward Wednesday to claim the biggest lottery jackpot in U.S. history — $365 million. Back when I wanted to work in government, I was a City Hall intern for a summer in Grand Island, Nebraska. Grand Island also had a meat-packing plant and the smell was....so horrible I was vegetarian for most of the summer. I couldn't (and still can't) imagine what it was like inside one of these plants. So I'm glad to hear some meatpackers are hitting the big time.

I know whatcha mean ... we have a couple of meat packing plants in town (thus the football team named Packers) and we've had people I've worked with who had jobs there ... and couldn't wait to leave.

I read that one of the workers was asked if he was going back to waork, he said he had been retired for about four days now!

That's no line of work to stay in.
