What's the story?
Jan. 26th, 2006 08:08 pmShortly before I finished my load of laundry at the laundromat last night an older woman (mid-60s) hobbled in with her laundry and started loading the dishwasher. She had a cast on her foot.
Am I wrong in assuming that the woman must be awfully lonely if she's hobbling herself to an all-night laundromat to do her own laundry. What's her story?
Then today at work a couple came in. The woman was in a wheelchair. They were there for an hour printing off old IRS forms. "The IRS owes me $25,000." What's the story behind her missing out on the 25 grand?
