Phantom of the Opera is now the longest running show on Broadway

Goodness, gracious. 11 million people have seen it.

I was quite the Andrew Lloyd Webber groupie back in the day. I wore out my cassette copy of the Phantom soundtrack. I especially liked "Masquerade" where the cast is descending down the staircase. I enjoyed over-the-top musicals when my mom was footing the bill.

Now I stay home and watch movies. ;)

I find it amusing that an ALW show beat an ALW show. Not that I am an ALW fan - Phantom is not one of my favorite shows, but I do love Masquerade...

Phantom is one of my favorites. My ex got me tickets last year for Valentine's Day because he knew I loved it. I always cry through most of the second half though. :(
