Roger Clemens' mother died this morning. He's pitching tonight. So I should cheer for him right?

Except that my opp has him on his team.

Mothers are mothers (mine's the best in the history of the world.) but baseball is baseball. If the man wants to grieve on the mound, which amazes me -- think of Brett Favre when his dad died-- no one owes it to him to strike out or lose to him. He chooses competition, not therapy. No dilemma.
