i'd pity you, but the Dodgers are now almost entirely minor league. their injuries have been so bad that today only one starter was in the opening day lineup, the pitcher, Derek Lowe. Our two All-Stars are out, etc. No Bradley, Kent, Izturis, Valentin, Drew, or whoever else used to be off the DL. We lost Gagne for the year too. And then there are the starting pitchers....

And it's so true, isn't it? In the WWI experience at the Imperial War Museum they have a recreation of a bombed out home during the blitz, and the audio includes a neighbor offering tea so insistantly the woman who just lost her home snaps 'If you offer me another bloody cup of tea I will break that pot over your head!'
(You'd never get honestly like that from an American war museum.)
