I can't remember the last time I've seen a popup. I downloaded an extension that allows you to custom enable/disable javascript on web pages. By default, it's disabled. I only permanently enable it for sites I use frequently, and temporarily enable it for sites that are broken without javascript.

The last time I saw a popup window was when I wasn't using my computer. I forgot how annoying they were. (Even with popup blockers, some popups got through. None are getting through disabling javascript.)
