50 State Half-Marathon Club

bona and I talked about our dreams this weekend. One of mine is to complete a half or full marathon in each of the 50 states.

I know there's a 50 State Marathon Club out there but i'll be "lazy" and concentrate more on half-marathons.

Well, if you're looking to check Wisconsin off the list, there's one in Green Bay in mid-May. And you get to run through Lambeau Field. I covered it last year. This is an edited version of the story I did for our own paper; it left out my favorite detail. After the proposal, she started wearing a cap that said "I'm Marrying Mister Rogers."

Thanks so much for letting me know about this. It's hard finding walker-friendly half-marathons. And it would be a beautiful time of the year to be in Green Bay.
